Request a VVC

VVC stands for Veterinary Verification and Consultation. It allows for certain, very specific changes to made to a protocol without having to submit a full amendment. Only a veterinarian can initiate a VVC.

1. Check the campus VVC policy (UW-4132 ) to see if the desired change falls within the parameters of the VVC policy (UW-4132 ).
2. If you think your change can be done by VVC contact your veterinarian. You must be logged in with your Net ID to see the veterinary contact list.
3. If your veterinarian confirms that the change is eligible for VVC they will initiate the process in ARROW and instruct you on the next steps.
